Term 1 & 2 Proud Moments

Term 1 Proud Moment: Master Chef

Last term I was really proud when we raised over $600  over kahikatea after we made the lunches.
The lunches we came up from our class  mini pavs, lemon curd, cookies, orange juice and ginger bread men   but unfortunately  we couldn't do them so we made chips and ginger bread men.
First we had to wash all the potatoes
Secondly we sliced them into  chip shapes.
Thirdly we added seasoning.
Fourthly Sophie and I watched the chips through school singing.
Finally we sold the chips and other lunches. 

 Term 2 Proud Moment: I came 2nd in Gym Sport😃

I,m really proud of getting 2nd in gymsports. The biggest reason that I  bet some kids that do gym after school.

My proud moment is reaching my spelling goal wich was pass list t. I reached it. Now I can help Mrs Bryant to test pother pupils in our class.

This term for inquiry we had a message that we had to show by three different styles of art. My message was save water.The types of art were cubism,starry night (By Vincet van gogh), graffiti and photography. Photography was my favorite.

This term my science question is: Why does the earth orbit the sun and the moon orbit the earth? I searched on google and it came up with: the earth orbits the sun because the earth's gravitational force is a lot smaller than the sun's and the earth's gravitational force is bigger than the moon's.

Hi, my name is Gracie.I'm so glad that I'm a year 5 witch  means that I'm a senior!I'm so happy that I'm in room 8 ,with  Mr Gemmell. This year I really want to take up as much opportunities as I possibly can.  I really can't believe that I have most of my really good friends(Emily, Isla, Sophie,Lily) in  my really cool class.
