Koru Art

Blue the colour of Kea represents strength. Curving round the edges, I blend the colours together. The hammerhead is a symbol of strength. This was fun because we got to represent our house in beautiful art.

Integrity Games

The children are lion cubs racing through the savannah. Dashing through the poles, the opposing team are far ahead.  The loosing team catch up quickly. While the team's players race through the course, the others encourage them. As soon as the music stopped they froze like statues.

The Fall

The Fall
By Gracie

My bike wobbled. It whimpered. I skidded.

My eyes opened and a tear trickled down my face. My knees worried in agony. I saw Millie hurrying off, not realizing that I had stopped. I think she noticed that I’m wasn’t behind her because I heard her bike screech to a stop. I identified my bike crash onto the floor.

I finally realized... it’s game over.  I had fallen...

My Treaty Of Waitangi

I enjoyed creating this with Reese and Isla because we got to research together and it was really interesting to find out a bit more about the Treaty of Waitangi and the Waikato Wars. I am so glad that we got to complete this in the time slot.

I hope you like the slide!

Blue

Blue is the sad tears trickling down your stinging cheeks

It is the rain dribbling down your window
It is the rough sea lapping against the boat

Circular Blue HeartBlue is a shark eating the poor helpless fish
It is the tongue of a lizard trapping a fly
It is a whale defending it’s calf

Blue is the sadness in your heart

Bike Lesson

    Bike Lesson

My bike is jelly as I try to go straight.
I am riding on a cushion as I ride down the hose.

Somebody is tickling me as I try to take control.

Their is a wall in front of me as I slam on the brakes

Thanks to Claire from team energize for teaching us.
